Join us for the first Curator’s Tour of our brand new exhibition!

From elegant assembly rooms and private balls to bustling theatres and fireworks displays, discover how people across Hampshire experienced life after dark between 1750 and 1820. Follow the story of a Georgian night out from getting ready and choosing what to wear, to travelling after dark and enjoying the evening’s entertainments.
Along the way, explore historic costume and accessories alongside rare books, manuscripts, prints and artworks revealing the preparations, pleasures and social expectations that surrounded an evening out over two hundred years ago.
Tickets: £15 (incudes Tea/Coffee on arrival, although please note that the Old Kitchen Tearoom is closed)
