Chawton House will be reopening its doors for the festive season, with a beautiful festive display celebrating Christmas traditions of days gone by.
See the House beautifully dressed with traditional decorations, handcrafted by Chawton House’s volunteer Christmas Committee, and with trees cut from the Chawton House estate. Step into the Dining Room and admire Edward Austen Knight’s dining table, all set up for a festive meal, while the Oak Room will bring together the teddy bears tea display!
The Old Kitchen Tearoom will be serving delicious festive treats, including homemade mince pies and festive hot chocolate, while the Shop will be filled with seasonal delights and stocking fillers to help with your Christmas shopping.
Chawton House’s Volunteer Christmas Committee have been busy crafting some amazing decorations to dress the House with, will you spot all of the knitted friends and new additions throughout the House this year?
