On Friday 7th November, BBC South Today came to Chawton House Library to film a feature on the launch of an urgent book conservation appeal.

Alongside staff, two current visiting fellows from Romania and California took part in the video, and a library volunteer was filmed cleaning a unique volume. Librarian, Dr Darren Bevin, brought out some of the items in most desperate need of repair for filming.
