Escape the winter chill with a taste of India at the first of our 2026 Supper Series. Join us for a richly flavoured two-course dinner in the Great Hall, preceded by an exclusive behind-the-scenes preview in our Library.
Arrive from 6.30pm and step into the Library for a sneak peek at items soon to go on display in our forthcoming exhibition, HomeMade Histories. You’ll encounter historic recipe books (including our earliest curry recipe) alongside travel journals, sketches, and watercolours from our women’s writing collection that evoke the sights and tastes of 19th-century India.
At 7pm, take your seat in the Great Hall as an array of delicious Indian dishes is served.
As you dine, test your knowledge with our Around the World with Chawton House written quiz, with a chance to win free tickets to visit the new exhibition when it opens in March.
Tickets: £30pp including welcome drink, 2-course meal + quiz pack (one per group). Additional drinks to be purchased separately.
