A one woman performance based on the life and works of Lady Mary Wortley Montagu – the eccentric literary genius and the unsung pioneer who championed to the introduction of smallpox inoculation to Britain.

Dr Georgina Lock has directed and acted for theatre and made short films. She designed the first scriptwriting programmes at Nottingham Trent university and taught them for fifteen years. Georgina now focuses on research and writing, particularly about creative women, who have been obscured or marginalised by history.
The show lasts 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A session with Dr Georgina Lock.
