Chawton House Library is delighted to announce that thanks to the generous support of Erna and John Hiscocks of Hiscocks Antiques, Kent, the Mary Pennington sampler will be fully conserved in time for the 2013 anniversary.
The sampler, which requires detailed care and attention to stabilise its condition, can now receive treatment and be re-framed, thanks to their support.
