Chawton House Library is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as Microsoft search engine Bing.com’s charity of the month for November 2012.
Bing are running a scheme to promote UK charities and have already highlighted 11 other UK charities this year.
This is a fabulous PR opportunity which is offering us incredible national and international publicity. We are very grateful to bing.com for choosing us as the twelfth charity of 2012.
Along with a featured page at discoverbing.com, Bing has filmed a dedicated fundraising video for us and their photographer has taken some lovely pictures, also on the same page. One of these is today’s background of the international www.bing.com homepage – which attracts over 11 million users per day! – and the facts and click-able items on the page relate directly to us and direct guests to our site.
