Be Creative in One of Our Kids Art Workshops

Join conservator Victoria Stevens for one of our Kids Art Workshops on Friday 15 April, inspired by Elizabeth Blackwell’s stunning 18th century text A Curious Herbal.

In the morning, children aged 2-5 can join our hands-on Colourful Creatures workshop. Using natural pigments that they will create themselves, children will have the chance to paint fantastic creatures that they can take home with them afterwards.

In the afternoon, children aged 7-10 can participate in our fun Inky Fingers workshop, where they will step back in the past of book-making and make their own iron gall ink from scratch. They will also learn how people in the 18th century wrote using a quill and be able to take home their inky creations.

These workshops must be booked in advance so book today to avoid disappointment.

Why not pre-book a picnic bag to enjoy before or after the workshop? Find out more about pre-booking a picnic bag here.

Learn New Skills Together in Our Family Photography Workshop
