Chawton House is officially part of the National Garden Scheme Snowdrop Festival! Of the event, the NGS have this to say:
“On a wintry day in February there is possibly no better activity than being in a National Gardens Scheme garden surrounded by hundreds of flecks of white snowdrop heads, creating a carpet of glamour which is a spectacular sight to behold.”
Entry to the garden will be £5 (children under 16 go free) and all funds will go to a range of beneficiaries selected by NGS including Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie among others. Refreshments will be available for purchase in the tearoom.
Tickets: £5; Children (Under 16) Free
Tea and refreshments will be available in the Great Hall.
Time: 11.00 – 4.30pm.
