Join local artist Julia Morgan for a creative Sunday painting the beautiful gardens and landscape of Chawton house.
Inspired by our exhibition HomeMade Histories: Letters, Art & Embroidery, and by Chawton House’s stunning landscape and flourishing gardens, you will learn to paint a beautiful watercolour image filled with character and charm.
The workshop will take place in the peace and quiet of the Billiards Room. Julia will demonstrate how to create your image and will be on hand to assist you as you create your painting.
Please arrive half an hour before the workshop so you can have a look around our gardens and gather inspiration for your painting.
At 1pm, you will have a half an hour break where you will be served a cream tea made by our talented chefs, but feel free to bring your own packed lunch if you would like something extra during your break.
£50 per person, includes all materials & equipment, a cream tea, and house & gardens entry.
