Sunday 6th February 2022
Venue: Chawton House
Come and explore the Gardens on this special Snowdrop Sunday and spot the hundreds of snowdrops that will carpet the grounds. A symbol of hope, snowdrops signal that spring is just around the corner and the dark, cold days of winter are soon to disappear.
This Snowdrop Sunday will be a special viewing, ahead of Chawton House reopening to the public on 9 February, as part of the National Gardens Scheme. The National Gardens Scheme is an inspiring programme that organises the opening of outstanding gardens across the country to help raise funds for charity.
Refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the day from the Old Kitchen Tearoom.
All funds from this special event will go to support the National Gardens Scheme charities, including Marie Curie, Macmilian Cancer Support, and Hospice UK.
