Join Chawton House for a late summer screening of Pride & Prejudice (2005) to celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th anniversary.

You have bewitched me, body and soul…

20 years on from its first release in 2005, enjoy an outdoor screening of this perennial family favourite,  starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. Bring a picnic or purchase cinema snacks from the Old Kitchen Tearoom, and soak up the atmosphere of Austen’s best-loved story in the backdrop of her brother’s house.

– Doors open at 7pm, screening begins at 8pm.

– The film runs for approx. 2h 8m.

– This is an indoor performance in Great Hall. Accessible parking spaces are available in the staff car park, with entry to the house through North porch door.
