A woman, especially if she have the misfortune of knowing anything, should conceal it as well as she can.”

Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey

How much do you really know about Jane Austen’s life, works and times? Can you tell your Mrs Clays from your Miss Carterets, your Colonel Forsters from your Mr Dennys? Do you wait with bated breath for the next Austen adaptation or continuation, or is your knowledge of Regency period etiquette unrivalled? Join us to show off your Austen credentials for an evening’s quizzing on all things Jane.

The prize for UK participants will be an Annual Visitors Pass and a cream tea in The Old Kitchen Team Room. For international participants, you will receive a year’s subscription to our magazine The Female Spectator and free access to one of our digital workshops.

Tickets £5 per team (1-4 people)
