In collaboration with the Chawton Antiques and Vintage Fair, we are holding our first ever Vintage Country Fair on the Chawton House estate this August Bank Holiday weekend, on Sunday 30th August, 10am-3pm.

The day will be a celebration of the Hampshire countryside, with a BBQ and entertainment on-site. Stalls and entry will be spaced to allow for social distancing.

Though we will allow walk-ins on the day, pre-booked ticket-holders will have priority entry. It is preferable that you book your ticket in advance to allow us to manage numbers. Booking in advance will also save you money off the ticket price.

  • Advanced Tickets: £1.50 (children under 6 go free)
  • On-the-day Tickets: £2 (children under 6 go free)

Further information:

  • There will free parking for the Fair on one of our fields. Please drive through Chawton village to the Chawton House driveway and follow signage/direction from our stewards.
  • Dogs are permitted in the fair, so long as they are on a short lead.

Call for Stallholders

We are particularly keen to hear from locally-based stallholders and artisans selling vintage and antiques, country crafts, plants, food and drink. Chawton House will provide chairs and tables but any gazebos or coverings required must be provided by the stallholder.

Stalls will be £30 for the day with an entrance fee for visitors of £1.50. All proceeds will be split between the two organisers and 50% of Chawton House’s proceeds will go towards the upkeep of Chawton House, its management and its collection.
