At least one of the Bennet sisters must marry well in order for the family to avoid destitution upon the death of Mr Bennet and so the task of finding suitable matches begins. But, as is always the case, matrimony is easier for some than for others. For Elizabeth Bennet in particular, not all judgements quickly made are correct, in particular when the dashing Mr Darcy is involved…

This Summer, critically acclaimed theatre company This Is My Theatre brings Jane Austen’s classic tale to life in a stunning one-act adaptation to celebrate the author’s 250th anniversary year.
Packed with rivalries, regrets and, of course, plenty of romance, This Is My Theatre is sure to spread joy this Summer!

This is an outdoor production, so please bring a chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to dig into, and dress for the weather!

Notes on Performance
– Doors open at 6pm, performance starts at 7pm.
– We recommend that you bring a picnic blanket or chair with you to sit on during the evening and that you bring additional layers with you for the evening. You are welcome to bring a picnic, but no BBQs or flames.
– In case of rain, please don’t bring umbrellas as they block sight-lines for other audience members. Ponchos and raincoats are just as fetching, so please wear these instead.
– This is an outdoors performance and surfaces may be uneven.

Accessible parking is available at this venue next to the House, whilst ticket holders will be directed to parking on arrival.
Only assistance dogs are permitted at this performance.
