September 2016

Welcome back to Chawton House Library Conversations. First launched on Sunday 8 March 2015 in celebration of International Women’s Day, our monthly podcast is a round up of news, events and highlights, helping you stay connected with Chawton House Library wherever you are.

This month, we meet some of the Visiting Fellows and find out about the different research they are doing on early women’s writing. We also interview Angela Thames, our Artist in Residence, to find out about the exquisite artist’s books that she has been making, inspired by works in the collection, which will be on display at the Library in an exhibition from 28 September to 28 October. We also hear from one of our recent interns about what makes volunteering at Chawton House Library so special.

Next month, we look forward to an exciting Autumn of events at Chawton House Library.
