We’ve got lots to keep you entertained this bank holiday weekend, so don’t let the ‘staycation’ get you down, get out and about and explore this beautiful part of the South Downs National Park!
Chawton House and gardens will be open each day from Friday through to Monday 31st August. Tickets for the House have been selling fast so book early to avoid disappointment. More information can be found on our booking page here.
Sunday 30th August: Vintage Country Fair
In collaboration with the Chawton Antiques and Vintage Fair, we are holding our first ever Vintage Country Fair on the Chawton House estate this August Bank Holiday weekend, on Sunday 30th August, 10am-3pm.
The day will be a celebration of the Hampshire countryside, with a BBQ and entertainment on-site. Stalls and entry will be spaced to allow for social distancing.
Stroll off the excesses of the bank holiday weekend with a breakfast bap and hot drink from Chawton House’s brand new Parkland Pantry before embarking on a walk of the parkland itself.
We’ll be serving up a bap and a hot drink for just £5 per person. Walking on the Chawton House parkland is free of charge but ticket-holders for this event will be given a map of the walk, plus a kids trail.
