Saturday 27th April 2024 to Sunday 28th April 2024
Venue: Chawton House

Saturday & Sunday, 10am-4.30pm
Join us over the weekend to view our beautiful bluebells & blossoms and enjoy fun for all the family with garden trails, tours and more!

Following snowdrops and daffodils, the next blooms we celebrate this Spring are the bluebells that carpet the wilderness, and the blossom that graces our Walled Gardens. See the garden wreathed in pinks and purples as the air warms and we welcome true Spring.
Over the weekend, we will be running events for all the family, included in the price of admission.
In the Library, see a special display of rare botanical works by women, and enjoy an introduction from a member of the Curatorial team.
On Saturday afternoon, at 3.30pm, see a screening of a talk by Fiona Stafford, author and Professor of English at the University of Oxford: ‘Spring Flowers and their Stories’ (50 minutes)
On Sunday, in the Garden, at 12pm, join a member of the Gardening team for a guided bluebells & blossom walk. Meet by the steps to the main entrance just before midday.
For the Kids: a Spring Flowers garden trail, seed planting, and arts & crafts.
