Wilf the Barn Owl
Join our friends at Hampshire Hawk Walks for a discovery of the world of birds of prey at Chawton House. This event promises a unique blend of education and entertainment, perfect for a summer holiday activity that you won’t want to miss.
There will be owls, hawks and falcons, including two baby barn owls, for you to meet. Wilfred the barn owl will be available for photos along with lots of other members of the team.
Come and get up close to and learn all about these amazing predators. Anita from Hampshire Hawk Walks will be on hand to answer all your questions.
Opportunities to hold birds will be available for a small charge, providing a hands-on experience unlike any other.
The Wildlife Trust will also be holding a stall and our Christmas Committee will be holding a stall selling handmade crafts to raise money for our Christmas display this year.
We will also have a selection of second hand books, themed around nature, available for you to purchase.
