Join us in our apple orchard for an exciting workshop experience!
Learn about our orchard, and the process of turning our homegrown apples into delicious cider.
All sessions run for just over an hour, and are scheduled at 12pm & 2pm. Please be aware this is an outdoor event – ticket holders are asked to meet in front of the entrance to the Walled Garden before your session starts.
Tickets: £20 per person which includes:
An introduction to cider making including some history, traditional and modern techniques.
A walk through the heritage orchard led by our head gardener: Julia Weaver.
A chance to get involved in mulching and then pressing our apples.
An explanation of how it moves from apple juice, through fermentation to bottling.
A sausage, stuffing and apple sauce bap, with your own bottle of Cider to drink or to take home (dietary requirements needed upon booking)
