Chawton House Library is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the publication of Jane Austen’s Emma, by John Murray, in December 1815, with a landmark exhibition ‘Emma at 200: from English Village to Global Appeal’.
Many of our supporters will know that this year is the bicentenary of the publication of Jane Austen’s novel Emma.
